Sandra “Sandi” Lillian Garland passed into eternal life on June 2, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer for nearly two decades. She was born on January 6, 1953 in Columbus, OH and daughter to Russell and Grace (Mott) Duncan. Sandi attended Groves High School in Birmingham, MI graduating in 1971. She went on to receive her associates degree from Northwest Michigan College using her skills in various administrative roles earlier on in life.
She was united in marriage to John Garland on August 19, 1977 enjoying nearly 45 years of marriage together.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls and could be found enjoying a good book, a shared cocktail with friends, shopping trips with girlfriends, spending time with her dogs, and many road trips to visit her sons. Above all, she cherished her family time – a quiet night in with those she loved most.
Sandi is survived by her husband, John and two sons; Jason of Niles, MI and Michael of Jenison, MI. Sandi is further survived by her dear friends and family.
Sandi is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Howard and Virginia Garland, sister-in-law, Pam Garland, and her grandmother, Lillian Lancaster.
