Sandra Lee Wright

Sandra Lee Wright, 73, of Oostburg, went Home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Sandie was born to LeRoy and Evangeline (Gabrielse) TenHaken on August 10, 1950, in Sheboygan. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1968. Sandie was proud of being a Registered Nurse and took pride in the many she cared for over the years.

While on a missionary assignment in Ghinda Eritrea, Sandie met George in 1974. Sandie was united in marriage to George Wright on June 5, 1976, at Bethel OPC in Oostburg. 

Sandie was a member of Bethel OPC, where she taught Sunday school. She was a part of the Prison Ministry for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and eating ice cream. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Sandie is survived by her husband of 48 years, George; sons, Nathan (Angie) Wright and David Wright; grandchildren, Elijah Wright and Rhiannon Wright; other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Wright and parents, LeRoy and Evangeline; parents-in-law, George and Rose Marie Wright.

A funeral service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at Bethel OPC on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 10:30am. Burial will take place at Hartman Cemetery.
