Sharon M. Hall (née Steffan), 79, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Born December 19, 1945, in West Bend, WI, Sharon, lovingly called “Bease” by her family, was a woman of deep faith, strong spirit, and boundless love for her family.
She was married to Ronald DeSmidt in 1967 and had two children, Robert DeSmidt (Jody DeSmidt) and Raquel Wimberly (Gregory Gmeiner).
She married Robert Hall in 1989, and experienced 36 wonderful years together. This marriage resulted in a blended family bringing Zachariah Hall; Elijah Hall (Nicole Hall); Caleb Hall; Ezekiel Hall (Jennifer Hall); Naomi Staniszewski (Matthew Staniszewski) into her life.
Sharon worked in human resources at various companies over the years, later retiring from real estate. She was also a devoted volunteer through her church with Ladies Auxiliary and a lifelong, proud Lutheran.
A gifted crafter and joyful hostess, Sharon made everyone feel welcome — no one ever left her home hungry or without a hug. She had a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor, the kind that kept everyone laughing and on their toes. One of her fondest memories was dancing on a stage in Paris with her Husband— a moment that captured her joy for life and adventure. Her warmth, wit, and fierce love will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Hall; her brother John Steffan (Wendy Steffan); seven children; twenty-three grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and 15-year old Yorkie, Jaz.
Preceded in death by her parents Armin and Gretchen Steffan; former husband Ronald DeSmidt; stepsons David DeSmidt and Jeff DeSmidt. Her family would like to thank the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their support and compassion.
