Sharon M. Neese, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 73 years old.
Sharon was born April 22, 1949 in Green Bay, the daughter of Donald and Sylvia (nee Brienen) Balza. She attended school in Green Bay and graduated from Green Bay East High School. After graduation, she attended beauty school and worked as a beautician for over forty years until she retired from Shear America.
On November 8, 1969 she was united in marriage with Gary Neese in Sheboygan. The two shared over 52 years together.
Sharon was a 52 year member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sheboygan where she was a devoted member of the congregation, deaconess circle, and altar guild. Sharon assisted with luncheons and numerous activities within the church. She thoroughly enjoyed the life-long fellowship of the church. Sharon took pride in growing beautiful flowers in her yard and abundant vegetables in her garden. She enjoyed crocheting and donated blankets she made to Sharon Richardson Hospice.
Sharon is survived by her husband Gary and her children: Randal (Melissa) of Kohler and Eric (Kirstin) of Sheboygan. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and her brother David (Darlene) Balza, sister-in-law Cheryl Balza, numerous relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents Donald (Dora) and Sylvia Balza, her brother Donald Balza Jr, and her son Matthew Neese.
Funeral services to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church 3027 Wilgus Avenue, Sheboygan with Rev. Bryan Osladil officiating. The visitation will take place at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30a.m. to 11:00a.m.
Sharon will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Sharon’s memory to Sharon S.
