Sherry Brusse

Sherry L. Brusse, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Thursday night, December 17, 2020.  She was the loving mother of Candi M. (Leo) Schnitzler and Micky L. (Lisa) Brusse and amazing grandmother to Avery and Levi Schnitzler, and Gillian, Jolene, Aleah, and Bryce Brusse.Her greatest joy in life was spending time with all her family and dear friends.  She also enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing and quilting.Sherry was born on December 20, 1951, in Pekin, IL   daughter of Wilbur and Albertia (Jarrett) Lehmann.  She attended grades kindergarten - 9th grade in Topeka, Kansas.  She then transferred to Sheboygan Falls High School and graduated with the class of 1969.On February 14, 1970, she married the love of her life, Thomas Brusse.  Together they lived in Sheboygan for 44 years until Tom's death in 2014.  Sherry worked for several companies in the Sheboygan Area and retired in 2014.  Throughout all her life, she always felt that her greatest accomplishments were her happy marriage to Tom, their two wonderful children, and their six very dear grandchildren.  She was very thankful to her Lord and Savior, Jesus, for his many blessings.Besides her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her sister, Dorothy Brant of Sheboygan.  She is also survived by sibling-in-laws, Virginia Altendahl of Sheboygan, Carol (Tom) Coombe of Eveleth, MN, and Allan Brusse of Sheboygan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her parents, Wilbur and Albertia (Jarrett) Lehmann, parents-in-law, Arlene and Delmar Brusse, brother, William Lehmann, sisters, Doranna Howerton and Lila Nelson, and brothers-in-law, Duane Altendahl and Scott Brant.To all her family and friends, Sherry says, "See you later in the Lord's Kingdom!
