On June 27, 2021, at 11:11 am, Sue Mundt reached the number of days (27,455) that God for her had set. He reached down from Glory and took her to her final resting place. Born, Linda “Sue” Mundt, on April 27, 1946, in Pittsburg, KS, to Wilbur and Alice (Garrison) Mundt. They preceded her to glory to join with her nephew, Chucky Miller.
Her life was filled with moving - thus schools scattered near and far. She graduated high school in South Dakota in 1964, then there were even more. New Tribes Mission gave her Bible training to guide in serving The Lord. Sheboygan County Teacher College gave a start in teaching, and a degree (Cum Laude) from Silver Lake College in 1973, then out into the world. Teaching (mostly first grade) in Sheboygan as well in Venezuela teaching missionary children. In 1973, away she went, where at The Kings Academy (in West Palm Beach, FL) the rest of her teaching days were spent.
She moved back to Wisconsin with parents in 1995, to give them the help they needed when they were still alive. She continued serving her Lord with tutoring, gardening, serving friends, or taking them to visit at nursing home, or going to Bible studies with them. She loved reading, singing, don’t forget butterflies and cats, the list never ends.
She left behind a sister, Joy (Marlin) Miller of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews, Linda (Ehren) Carriveau, Lee (Sheri) Miller, Kris Storm, Becca Miller; great-nieces and nephews, Gabi, Hope, Tyler, Michael, Andrew, Abby, and Maya; and one great-grand-nephew, William. She is further survived by cousins, friends, and hundreds of “her kids” she had taught through the years.
Come celebrate her homegoing with us on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 12:00 pm at the Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church, 1710 N. 15th Street, with Rev. Jon MacDonald officiating.
