Susanna R. Kantor, 56, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by family and friends, following a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
She was born on December 8, 1968, in Capua, Italy, to Al and Elizabeth (Steiner) Kantor. After immigrating to the United States with her parents, Susanna graduated from James Madison High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Class of 1987).
Susanna was employed as a customer service representative for the Kohler Co. and was an accomplished violinist and singer, having performed with a couple different local bands. She also loved seeing others perform, and regularly attended live music performances throughout southeastern Wisconsin. She loved being outdoors, no matter the season, and was very active. She would frequently spend her free time at the gym, hiking, paddle-boarding, or relaxing at the beach with friends. She loved being out in the community, and would frequent different coffee shops, and restaurants.
Susanna always had a sunny disposition. She was down-to-earth, sincere, and great at connecting with people, and building new friendships. She was an excellent listener, and a great conversationalist. She'd frequently surprise people by how much she remembered about them, and their lives. Her loved ones, and friends, would describe her as thoughtful, curious, optimistic, positive, warm, caring, classy, humble, sweet, and service-oriented. She just wanted to make others happy, and be happy. She just wanted to love, and be loved. Little else mattered to Susanna.
She is survived by her loving partner and caregiver, Kent Imig, her father Al Kantor, and her sister, Sylvia (Domingo) Cruz. She is further survived by her loving nephews Devin Holling (Maddie Bird), Ethan Holling (Maria Donadio), Andres Cruz, her grand-niece Hazel Donadio-Holling, other relatives and many friends.
Susanna is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Kantor.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Susanna's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, a local nonprofit organization.
The family would like to thank her dear friend Tina Ballentine, as well as the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, for their compassionate and attentive care. The family also thanks her loyal friends for their numerous visits with her, and support, during her two-year battle with ALS.
