Tama Bollenbacher

Tama D. Bollenbacher, passed away peacefully at her home in Sheboygan on Monday, April 19, 2021 surrounded by her family and beloved dogs after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She was 74 years old.

Tama was born August 31, 1946 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Harry and Kathryn (nee Pappas) Anderson. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1964. She was united in marriage with Jim TenPas in November of 1964, and the couple had two children, Christine and Paul. On March 10, 1972 she was united in marriage with John Bollenbacher, and son Nick joined the family.

Tama was an avid dog lover, who loved sports cars, crafting, playing the harp and watching horror movies. A food connoisseur, she also loved visiting local restaurants with John for her favorite foods.

Tama is survived by her children: Christine TenPas, Paul TenPas (Ellie Meyers) and Nick (April) Bollenbacher and three grandchildren: Jakob Bollenbacher, Nicole Bollenbacher and Brandon TenPas. She is further survived by her siblings: Resa (Jim) Klabechek, Brett Anderson and Ebba (John) Nowicki; brother-in-law Peter Bollenbacher; sister-in-law Ann (Mark) Kellner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, her brother Scott Anderson and her sister-in-law Mary Bollenbacher.

A private family memorial service will be held.

A memorial fund is being established in her name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice as well as family, especially Ann, for their extraordinary care, support and love.
