Thomas J. Pritzl passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 27, 2021. He was 72 years old.
Thomas was born June 15, 1948 to Leon and Carol (nee Metzenheim) Pritzl in Milwaukee. He graduated from Messmer High School, and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force from 1968-1971. He later studied at UW Milwaukee, earning his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and his Master’s Degree in Social Work. He retired in 2020 after a 30+ year career as a therapist.
An avid outdoorsman, Thomas loved gardening and spending time in his yard.
Thomas is survived by his daughters: Kelly (Brad) Loberger of Gibbsville and Elizabeth Pritzl (Jesus Arciniega) of Sheboygan and grandchildren: Alex Zastrow and Zoe Loberger. He is further survived by step-daughters: Christine Sutherland (Ryan Eberle) and Kimberly Sutherland; siblings: Mary (John) Simon, Rich (Julie) Pritzl and Anne (Howie) Pulkowski; former wife Cynthia Daane; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Penny Pritzl.
A private family memorial service will be held.
