Timothy D. Bruggink

Timothy Bruggink, lifelong resident of Cedar Grove, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Sheboygan Progressive after a lengthy illness. He was 74 years old.

Timothy was born February 27, 1952 in Sheboygan, son of Dale and Marion (Rusch) Bruggink. He grew up in Cedar Grove, graduating in 1970 from Cedar Grove High School. He went on to study electronic repair at LTC. For over 35 years, he was a familiar face in Cedar Grove as a village employee.

A member of the Sauk Trail Conversation Club where he served as the treasurer, Tim also enjoyed participating in a bowling league, and proudly coached youth baseball for many years where he mentored and inspired countless young men. An avid fisher and hunter, Tim made countless memories with his loved ones in the woods and on the lake. Above all, he loved time spent with his grandchildren.

On June 22, 1974, he was united in marriage with Kathleen Dobson in Cedar Grove at First Reformed Church.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife Kathi and their children: Todd (Nicki) Bruggink and Amy Bruggink; grandchildren: Mason, Grady and Hadley Langland and Natalie and Harper Bruggink; sister Beth (Dave) Van Dixhorn of Cedar Grove; sister-in-law Karen Oswald; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Edna and Russell Dobson; brothers-in-law James DeMaster and Jack Oswald; nephews Eric Demaster and Mathew Oswald.
