Tina Marie Cooney, 69, of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Tina was born to Donald and Millie (Naylor) Cooney on September 7, 1956. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1974.
Tina was employed as a banker for 42 years until her retirement from BMO in 2016. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church and loved to volunteer in Awana, finance, and VBS. She spent time serving and attending Lake Lundgren Bible Camp and Silver Birch Ranch. Tina was a lover of people, animals, plants and the fair. She served with Days for Girls, including as the treasurer and was a hospice and grief share volunteer. She served as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 20 years. Tina was a remarkable mom, grandma, GG, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Once you knew Tina she stayed in your life, no matter the time, distance or life circumstances. She intentionally sought out opportunities to serve and love others well. She was present in her grandchildren's lives and loved to craft, play Bingo, make up games and spoil them with her time and generosity.
Tina is survived by her children: Amy (Damian Creazzo) Ramminger, Jocelyn (Peter) Sutton, Nick (Amanda Jadowski) Laack; grandchildren: Francesco Creazzo, Luca Creazzo, Andrea Sutton, Caleb (Sophie) Sutton, Elijah Sutton, Micaiah Sutton, Jada Sutton, Eden Sutton, Gonzalo Sutton, Stephanie Synder, Makayla Laack; great grandchildren: Roslyn Cheney, Esther Sutton, and Edison-dog. She is further survived by her brother, Mike (Kathy) Cooney; siblings-in-law: Judy (Randy) Preder, Renee (Jeff) Juckem, Sandy (Tim) Buechel, Duane (Kathy) Ramminger, Carl (Joan) Laack, Mary (Dan) Albright, Ruth (Tom) Miller; former spouse, Donald Laack; and “little sister” Sophia Okoroma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Ramminger; parents; parents-in-law, Leeander and Rita Ramminger, William and Audrey Laack; brother, Pat Cooney, and her dog, Milo.
A celebration of Tina’s life will take place July 11, near her hometown of Plymouth, Wisconsin.
