Sheboygan Falls

Todd Ertl, 58, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in Neenah, WI.

Todd was born on August 11, 1963, to Jerome and Shirley (Carolfi) Ertl in Sheboygan. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School.

Todd enjoyed wrestling and football in his younger years.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, his fantasy football leagues, playing pool and watching many different types of sporting events.

Todd is survived by his mother, Shirley Ertl of Sheboygan Falls; sister, Lisa (Dean)Murray of Sheboygan Falls; sister, Cindy (Kyle) Stone of Portland, Oregon; nieces Lindsay (Trish) Thomack, Cassie (Jay) Pribek, Emily Thomack, Jessie Stone, Jamie Stone, and nephew Tommy Murray; and very special friend and partner Linda Bruggink.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Ertl.  Mental health is a serious disease that many people suffer with.  He is finally at peace.

This is one of Todd’s favorite passages.  “Father, I need to know that I am your son, and that there is a place for me in your heart that no one else can fill.  I need to experience your love.  Raise the orphaned boy in me.  Take me back to those places where I felt so missed and show me that my heart matters to you.  Give me eyes to see and ears to hear how you are raising the heart of the boy in me, raising me in belovedness even now.  Heal and restore my soul as a son-as your beloved son.  Give me the grace to believe it.”

Services will be announced and held at a later date.

Memorial gifts can be made in her name for an organization benefiting Mental Health Awareness or the Sheboygan Falls Athletic Booster Club.
