Todd Hitsman

July 13, 1982 — September 29, 2022

Sheboygan Falls

Todd A. Hitsman passed away tragically as a result of a motorcycle accident on Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was 40 years old.

Todd was born July 13, 1982 in Sheboygan, the youngest child of Duane Hitsman Jr. and Sharon (Burns) Hitsman. He attended Sheboygan Falls High School, graduating in 2001.

Since 2021, Todd had been working at Heidenreiter Bus in Sheboygan Falls. Prior, he had worked at Chester’s Drive-In in Plymouth for 10 years where he made lifelong connections and left a lasting impression on all who worked with him. He also owned his own painting business, Todd’s Prime Painting.

Todd loved spending time riding his motorcycle with friends, cruising with his beloved dog Lucy, painting and playing poker. He loved animals, especially his dogs Cooper and Wuppy. He was always dressed to impress, and had a huge collection of shoes and socks.

The most important thing to Todd was his family and friends; he loved his nephews very much, and his Princess niece Bri. All who knew Todd will miss his big heart, kindness, never expecting nothing in return, and all of his pranks. His legacy will live on through his generous gift of tissue donation.

Todd is survived by his parents Sharon “Speedy” Hitsman of Sheboygan Falls and Duane Hitsman Jr. of Beaver; his siblings: Duane Hitsman of Plymouth and Heather (Ryan) Dana of Sheboygan; nephews Bryce and Jordy Hitsman and Ty Dana and niece Bri Dana and grandparents Leo and Georgene Burns of Brillion. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles: Randy (Carla) Burns with whom he had a very special bond, Kevin (Marlo) Burns, Roger Hitsman, Jeff Hitsman, Daniel (special friend Kristin Gmach), Dean Hitsman (special friend Stacy Reed), Debbie Hitsman (special friend Greg Fleischman), Lori (Tom) Saubert, Mary Jo (Bruce Jr.) Wright and his “Bestie” Tammy (Lester) Burtard; special friends Kelly, Isaac and Ryan H.; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Duane Sr. and Betty Hitsman.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at The Franklin House, 304 Pine St. in Sheboygan Falls.
