Virginia Kuhlow

Virginia M. Kuhlow, 85, of Pine Haven Christian Home, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.Virginia was born on July 13, 1932, in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Arnold and Lillian (Schmidt) Kaemmer. She graduated from Waldo High School in 1951. Virginia was employed at Troy Laundry. On October 15, 1955, she was united in marriage to Melvin Kuhlow at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in the Town of Lima. Melvin preceded her in death on November 18, 2002. She and her husband farmed the Kuhlow Homestead until 1973.Virginia enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, reading, Bible study, and jigsaw puzzles.Virginia is survived by her sister, Darleen (Allan) Kimber of Green Bay; a brother-in-law, Edgar Kuhlow; one niece, Amy (Joshua) Dorner; two nephews, Dennis Kuhlow, and Keith (Tessie) Kuhlow. She is further survived by many great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Melvin; her parents; and two brothers-in-law, Herbert (Irma) Kuhlow and Harvey Kuhlow.Funeral services to celebrate Virginia's life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in the Town of Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. A burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.Relatives and friends may gather at the church for a time of visitation from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
