Vivian J. Veldboom, of Sheboygan Falls, was greeted in heaven by her family on Tuesday evening, February 17, 2026. She was 99 years old.

Vivian was born March 27, 1926 in Gibbsville, the daughter of Lewis and Meta (Rauwerdink) Heinen. She attended Sheboygan Falls High School, graduating in 1944. In her youth, she enjoyed playing baseball on a coed league.

On July 6, 1944 she was united in marriage with Gordon Veldboom in Gibbsville. After living in Belgium and Oostburg, the couple made Gibbsville their home where they made countless memories and Vivian raised 4 children. Gordon passed in 1992.

Vivian was a member of Gibbsville Church, and throughout her life had been involved with the Beaver Creek Homemakers, Ladies Society at church, VFW Auxiliary Post 9156, the Farm Bureau and AARP. An avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, Vivian gardened and enjoyed bird watching at her home in Gibbsville.

At Pine Haven, her home of the last 10 years, she was a Bingo queen and enjoyed doing word searches and crosswords.

Vivian is survived by her son Philip (Beth) of Cedarburg, son-in-law Ron Bowen, 11 grandchildren: Debby, Shelly, Kevin, Tracey (Joe), Kristin, Travis, Jodi, Judi, Kelly (Brad), Scott (Wendy) and Paul; 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law Joan Heinen.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband Gordon and their children: Carl Veldboom, Darrel Veldboom and Joan Bowen; brothers Russel (Vi), Roland (Betty) and Duane Heinen.

Vivian will be laid to rest at Gibbsville Cemetery this summer.
