William "Bill" Wulff

William H. Wulff, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Cedar Grove on Monday, October 24, 2022 after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Bill was born May 22, 1933 in Milwaukee, the son of Carl A. and Eveline L. (nee Hovener) Wulff and grew up in Grafton. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1951, and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin.

On June 30, 1956, he was united in marriage with Lorna Mae Moll at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Sherman.

From 1956-1975, Bill worked as a small engines mechanical engineer, first at Power Products in Grafton and later in Galesburg, IL at Lawn Boy. The couple moved their young family back to Cedar Grove in 1975 where Bill operated his own farm. He also went back into engineering for Mitchell Manufacturing in Milwaukee. For nearly 30 years, he enjoyed working with Lorna in tax preparation.

Bill was a member of the Adell Coop Board, as well as Cedar Grove – Belgium School Board where he served as President. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed taking his young family on memorable vacations and camping trips. He enjoyed woodworking and creating special pieces for his family, and loved time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family will cherish memories of him spending time in the woods with his tractor and chainsaw, taking family and guests on hay wagon rides, and all the joy of family gatherings.

Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lorna and their sons: William J. (Kay) Wulff, David J. (Lauri) Wulff and John M. (Hope) Wulff. He is further survived by grandchildren: Gabrielle (Bradley) Williams, Carl (Lauren) Wulff, Cedric Wulff, Matthew Wulff, Derek Wulff, Julia Wulff, Dion Wulff, Daniel Wulff, John Wulff and Josh Wulff; great-grandchildren Maxwell, Noah and Levi; brothers Kurt (Louise) Wulff and Keith (Judy) Wulff; sister-in-law Dolly Moll; brothers-in-law Eugene (Gladys) Moll and Clay Willmington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl A. Wulff II, sister Lorna May (Don) Huebner and sister-in-law Ruth Willmington.
