Obituary

Amira Katusimie Kromah, 11, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Campus.

Amira was born to Musa Kromah and Elizabeth Wah on June 7, 2010, in Milwaukee. She attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School in Sheboygan where she was school treasurer. Amira was a member of Pentecostals of Sheboygan County.

Amira enjoyed all outdoor activities, swimming, biking, skating, and dancing. She was incredibly inquisitive and curious. Amira loved reading, science, math, and was a dedicated thinker. She was a mother in a little body and loved and adored her sisters and brothers. She loved listening to the Adventures in Odyssey. Amira was a talker and social butterfly who touched lives of anyone she met. She made everyone feel special and worried about others more than herself. Amira had a love of being involved in children Bible classes. She was always her mother’s interpreter. Amira always brought out the best in others and loved giving, rather than receiving. She was determined to kick leukemia to the curb for the second time and she had accomplished it. Amira was a fighter and her walk with the Lord was so important.

Amira is survived by her mother, Elizabeth (Aaron) Schuh; father, Musa (Mayan) Kromah; siblings, Austin, Fatima, Aisha, Anayah, Alexis, Massa, Ansumana; her cavapoo puppy, Lena Rose; grandparents, Sherri and Steve Ohly, Francis Wiefueh, Ansuman and Massagbeh Kromah, Gary and Joann Hinz, Frank and Mary Schuh, Joseph and Philomena Wallace; great-grandparents, Bill and Jean Frahman, Arthur Koeser, Rita Schuh. She is further survived by many aunts and uncles, Bryce, Annelyse, Omega Wiefueh, Carlton, Alexander, Luke, Sheila, Justin, Carrie, Dominic, Tony, Bangale, Toima, Mafee, Mamade; many cousins, other relatives, and many close friends, Aurelia, Lizzie, Vanessa, and Ellison.

Amira was preceded in death by her biological grandparents, Theresa Wesseh and Hilary Wah; uncle, Emanuel; and great-grandparents, Elizabeth Moses and David Wesseh.

Amira’s family would like to extend a special thank you to caring staff at Children’s Hospital for their unconditional love and endless support. Also, to the village that it took to raise Amira, particularly since her diagnosis in April of 2020. Words cannot express our immense gratitude for countless prayers, cheers, and support through it all. We have all prayed for a miracle and it was granted, our Lord’s will has come to pass for Amira. The family’s wish is that all come to accept the outcome as they have.
