Joseph A. Clemens, of St. Cloud and formerly of Belgium, passed away Sunday morning, May 30, 2021 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was 86 years old.
Joseph was born March 28, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son of Alvin and Margaret (nee Gelhardt) Clemens. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1959.
Joseph worked as a machinist at Milwaukee Dustless Brush Co. for 43 years, retiring in 1997.
Joseph was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish as well as the VFW Post 7037. He loved fishing, taking pictures, enjoying a cold one, and being with his family. His generosity was unmatched, and he was always willing to do anything for his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his sister: Marge Borchardt of TX; nieces Sharon (Dave) Maas of Sheboygan Falls and Betty (Reg) Roy of TX; nephew David Ryan of CA; He is further survived by great nieces and nephews: Sally (Jim) Schwartz, JoAnne Mielke, Ervin (Sherri) Mielke, Ken (Kris) Mielke, Mike (Corey) Mielke, Michele (Mike) Buss, Sue (Dave) Schwartz, Patti (Mike) Beilke, Linda (Randy) Kern, Amy (Jim) Kern, Konnie Mielke (friend Chris), Karen (Ben) Pfaff, Sandy Mielke (friend Brad), Debbie (Kevin) Wallner, Daryl (Linda) Maas, Jim (Lisa) Wichmann, Tim Ryan, Jeannine Roy and Christine Roy; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Germaine (Bill) Ahrens and Angela (Robert) Huber; niece Mary Ann Ryan and great-niece Dawn Wichmann.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway in Sheboygan Falls with Father Joseph Dominic officiating. All are welcome to view a livestream of the service wenig.live/JosephClemens . The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30-11:00AM. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls
