Linda Behr

Linda Behr, 68, of Waldo, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at her home.

Linda was born on January 5, 1953, to Warren and Mary (Porter) Ruger in Plymouth. She attended Plymouth High School. Linda went on to Lakeshore Technical College and graduated with her LPN and ADN. She continued her schooling at Marian College, obtaining her BSN and MSOLQ. Linda took a Nursing Home Administrator Course at UW- Madison in 1999 and was licensed as Nursing Home Administrator in 2002.

Linda was united in marriage to Arno Behr on June 5, 1970, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cascade. Linda was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, and hunting. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Arno Behr; son, Joseph Behr and Joshua (Jenny) Behr; daughter, Rebecca (Randy) Rau; grandchildren, Garret (special friend Emily Koller), Gretchen, and Gwendalyn Rau; niece, Angela (Dan) Krinn; nephew, Tony Krelle; other relatives, and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Mary and sister, Allie Ann Stewart.

A private family mass for Linda will be held.

Memorial donations can be made in Linda's name to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
