Therese Zimmerman

Therese Zimmerman, 89, of Cedar Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her home.

Therese was born on March 28, 1933 to Benedict and Clara (Wiemert) Neusatz. She was united in marriage to Marion Joseph Zimmerman on April 21, 1958.

Therese enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was a talented cook and baker. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them more than anything.

Therese is survived by her children, Robert (Jeanette) Zimmerman, Sue (Ron) Bittner; grandchildren, Kevin, Mike (Heather), Mark (RaDonna), Jasmine (Joshua), Danielle (Timothy), Dannette (Dustin), James, Daniel (Amber); grandchild-in-law, Sherry (wife of Ken); 25 beloved great-grandchildren; sisters, Linde (Ron) Rowe, Erika (Alex) Schulko; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; daughter Patrizia (Dennis) Clark; grandson Kenneth Clark; and brother, Franz Neusatz.

A funeral service to celebrate Therese’s life will be held at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 2:30 pm. Immediate family will be laying her to rest next to her husband at Woods National Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may greet the family from 12:00 until the time of service.

Memorials are appreciated in Therese’s name to the American Cancer Society and Tunnel to Towers Foundations.
